Construction firm names two project execs

They will work out of Sarasota, Bonita Springs offices.

BONITA SPRINGS — Gates Construction has named new two project executives.

Abraham Velazquez is senior project manager, responsible for the overall project coordination from the pre-construction and permitting stage through to owner occupancy.

Velazquez has 20 years of construction experience with expertise in multifamily, hospitality and health care construction. Velazquez will be based at Gates’ downtown Sarasota office.

Traci Christensen has been named project coordinator and will be responsible for permitting, submittals, drawings, contracts, purchase order processes and direct material purchase procedures. She will be based in Gates Construction’s headquarters in Bonita Springs.
