TAMPA — Miami-based property developer The Related Group has broken ground on Town Westshore at Marina District, a 396-unit waterfront apartment community in Tampa.
LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville general contractor, is building the project, which is slated for completion in summer 2019.
MSA, a Miami-based architectural firm, designed the luxury mid-rise apartment buildings.
“We see enormous potential in Tampa and are proud to be playing a role in the area's rapid growth,” states Related Group vice president Jeffrey Robbins in a press release. “We've built a reputation for creating projects that complement the surrounding area's existing character and look forward to improving the region's already high standard of living.”
According to the release, Town Westshore is one of four Related Group projects in the Tampa Bay area and is a part of the developer's broader push into the central Florida region. These projects include Manor Riverwalk, Icon Harbour Island, Icon Central and Town Maitland, among others.
