FORT MYERS — Longtime Southwest Florida commercial real estate broker Bev Larson has been named president of the board of the Real Estate Investment Society.

Larson, a CCI-designated broker with Lahaina Realty, has been in the real estate sector in the area since 1976. She's worked with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in Lee, Collier and surrounding counties.

Other officers on the REIS board, according to a statement, include Vice President Alexis Crespo of Waldrop Engineering; Treasurer Mary Gentile of LandQwest Property Management; and Secretary Bill Morris of Morris-Depew Associates.

The Real Estate Investment Society is an independent organization that helps real estate through networking, education, public service and a common voice on pertinent issues, the release adds.
The group holds luncheon meetings at 11:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers.
