FORT MYERS — Henderson Franklin, one of the largest law firms based in Southwest Florida, named attorney Christina O'Brien a stockholder.
O'Brien joined the firm in 2013, according to a statement. She concentrates her practice in the family law arena, handling matters of divorce and dissolution of marriage; custody; paternity; child support; domestic violence injunctions; post-judgment modifications; and dependency issues, the release adds. Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, she ran her own practice in Fort Myers, where she handled family law and civil cases.
O'Brien also serves on board for the Coalition for a Drug-Free Southwest Florida and has previously served on the board for the Association of Family Law Professionals, the Family Resource Center of Southwest Florida and the Lee County Legal Aid Society, among other groups. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tamp and her law degree from Florida State University.
Henderson Franklin has more than 55 attorneys, with offices in Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Naples and Sanibel Island.
