A Naples family office has a new general counsel and a new name.

Marianne Zuk has joined the former Fifth Avenue Advisors, which recently rebranded as Fifth Avenue Family Office to better reflect the firm’s mission of managing high-net worth entrepreneurs’ and their families’ often complex financial and personal lives, particularly after they’ve sold their companies, according to a statement.

“Our firm’s new name better reflects our mission to be the entrepreneur’s family office, helping them navigate the complexities of their financial and personal lives,” says partner Gary Price in the statement.

Adds partner Timothy Cartwright, “Some of the best venture capital opportunities come from around the country to Naples to raise funds, and our clients are in an excellent position to benefit from this trend.”

Zuk is no stranger to Southwest Florida, having served as general counsel and senior executive for the family offices of prominent Collier County families. She has been involved in local charitable efforts, including Harry Chapin Food Bank. Most recently, Zuk was CEO of Knickerbocker Group in New York City.

Founded in Naples in 2006, Fifth Avenue Family Office provides an array of services ranging from investment management to sophisticated estate planning, in addition to lifestyle services, including property and yacht management.
