NAPLES — Naples-based ASG Technologies, which helps large companies manage big volumes of data, has signed a partnership to work with Syncsort, an enterprise software firm.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

The agreement, according to a statement, combines Pearl River, N.Y.-based Syncsort's data discovery software with ASG's enterprise programs to help clients manage data for governance and regulatory compliance. The partnership will help clients “support data-driven business decisions,” the company adds in the statement.

“Most organizations, especially in industries such as financial services and health care, need to have confidence in the quality of their data assets for regulatory compliance and making important business decisions,” Syncsort Chief Product Officer David Hodgson says in the release. “We are pleased to be partnering with ASG for their data governance initiatives.”

Founded in 1986, ASG works in multiple industries, including transportation, manufacturing, financial services and retail. Customers have included Coca-Cola and General Electric. It had $240 million in revenue in 2016 and has about 1,000 employees.
