After Hurricane Irma, the Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota County created a resource page on its website for businesses in the region that need help with recovery.

The webpage includes resources for businesses available locally, from Florida and from the federal government.

“We are standing ready to help local businesses in any way we can, knowing our community will get through this challenge and be stronger than ever,” EDC President and CEO Mark Huey says in a statement. “In this regard, we hope the information we are compiling on our website will be helpful to local businesses.”

The webpage can be found by visiting the EDC's homepage at edcsarasotacounty.com and clicking on the link “Hurricane Irma - Sarasota County Damage Assessment and Business Recovery.”
