TAMPA — Sykes Enterprises Inc. has expanded into Europe by opening a new customer service delivery facility in Larnaca, Cyprus.
Sykes, based in Tampa, specializes in business process outsourcing, providing inbound customer engagement services to Global 2000 companies.
In a press release, the company states the new facility will help it better engage with and serve multi-lingual customers in northern and central Europe.
“Given the growth opportunities in certain key language segments of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) market, Larnaca is well situated geographically and serves as an optimal place for commerce given its diverse multi-lingual human capital talent pool and its competitive operating model,” says Sykes Vice President Christian Schaffer in a statement.
