FORT MYERS — Campo Felice Retirement Living, one of the newest 55-plus campuses in Southwest Florida, recently hired 75 people.

The new employees, according to a statement, have been assigned to one of a dozen potential departments. The list includes one of the four restaurants; the ballroom; the fitness center; the library and computer lab; the front desk; fitness center; game room; 49-seat movie theatre; and the resort-inspired pool. Campo Felice is at 2500 Edwards Drive in the Downtown Fort Myers Historic River District.

The employees are going through training in the days before residents of the phase one part of the project move into the facility, the release adds.

“As they begin to familiarize themselves with their respective workspace and the state-of-the-art equipment within it, they are also getting to know one another and determining how to bring our 'senior living re-imagined' tagline to life beyond luxury suites and amenities,” says Rebekah MacFarlane Barney, COO of The MacFarlane Group LLC, the sole owner of Campo Felice.
