FORT MYERS — Spiro & Associates, a marketing, advertising, public relations and branding firm, named longtime area banker Bill Turner chief operating officer.
Turner will oversee daily operations, clients and staff at Spiro & Associates, according to a statement. Prior to this move, Turner had been in banking for nearly 20 years, where institutions he worked for include Encore Bank, Florida Gulf Bank, Iberia Bank, Stonegate Bank and SunTrust Bank. Most recently he was vice president of branch administration at Encore Bank, where he managed sales and operations at six branch offices and oversaw public relations, advertising and marketing efforts. He worked in commercial loans and banking before he joined Encore Bank, the release states.
“Bill, who has been a friend for over a decade, and a fellow Gator, brings an impressive and diverse background to the agency,” says Spiro CEO & Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Spiro in the release. “He will play an integral role in streamlining the agency's processes to help us successfully move forward with our continued growth objectives.”
