TAMPA — Ajay Sujanani joined the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corp. as vice president of international business development.
According to a press release, Sujanani brings international business experience to the role. He managed business development initiatives in Asia, South America, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
“His skill set will be invaluable in helping us achieve the goals we set in our most recent strategic plan,” says Tampa Hillsborough EDC president and CEO Craig Richard in a statement.
According to the release, Sujanani will focus on leading sales missions to foreign markets, conducting export counseling and connecting local companies to the resources necessary to expand internationally. He will also work with Pinellas County Economic Development and the Pasco Economic Development Council on the Tampa Bay Export Alliance.
