NAPLES — Lee Health President and CEO Dr. Larry Antonucci has been named to the 2017-2018 Florida Hospital Association's board of Trustees.

Antonucci has nearly 35 years of leadership experience, both as a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist and as a health care executive, according to a release. He was named president and CEO of Lee Health in June. Prior to that, he was COO at the health system since 2011.

“We are pleased to welcome Larry to the FHA Board,” says FHA President Bruce Rueben in the statement. “As a physician leader, Larry provides critical insight on furthering our mission to care. His demonstrated leadership and strong commitment to service make him a valuable addition to the FHA Board of Trustees.”

Through representation and advocacy, education and informational services, the FHA supports its membership of more than 200 hospitals and health care systems statewide.

“I am proud to serve on the FHA Board of Trustees,” Antonucci says in the release. “It is an honor to join other health care leaders in advancing the mission and vision of the FHA.”
