Radio group names VP

NAPLES — Beasley Broadcast Group Inc. subsidiary Beasley Media Group Inc. named Heidi Raphael vice president of corporate communications.

Raphael will begin her position at the Naples-based company immediately. She most recently was senior vice president of corporate communications at Greater Media Inc. Raphael spent 20 years at the company in several roles, including WRIF-FM marketing director, Greater Media Detroit group marketing director, WMGC-FM new business development director. In 2006, she was promoted to director of corporate communications at the company's Braintree, Mass.-based corporate headquarters. She was promoted to vice president in 2008 and senior vice president in 2016. Beasley Broadcast Group acquired Greater Media in 2016.

Raphael is on the board of the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation. She is a member of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group.

Beasley Broadcast Group owns and operates 63 stations — 45 FM radio stations and 18 AM radio stations — in 15 large and mid-size markets in the U.S.
