SARASOTA — CBIZ Insurance Services Inc. acquired the commercial insurance book of business from Alliance Insurance.
According to a press release, the acquisition makes CBIZ the largest underwriter of community associations in the region.
CBIZ also added Alliance Insurance's vice president of sales, James Cirillo Jr., as a business partner in the firm's Sarasota office. Cirillo has experience in community associations, hospitality and private clients.
“Jimmy's expertise in the community association and private client markets complements our already strong presence in those industries,” says CBIZ Florida-West Coast President Keith Mercier. “His integrity and consultative approach are a great fit with our team. We look forward to working with him and continuing to grow that area of our operations.”
CBIZ provides financial services including accounting, tax, financial advisory, government health care consulting, risk and advisory, and valuation services. The company has five other Florida offices, in Boca Raton, Clearwater, Tampa, Orlando and Delray Beach. It has 100 offices in the U.S. in 33 states.
