NAPLES — The Naples City Council appointed Michael Lenhard to the City of Naples Airport Authority board.
Five citizen volunteers govern the airport authority. They are appointed to four-year terms. The other commissioners are Ted Brousseau, Richard Evans, Donna Messer and James Rideoutte.
Lenhard retired from Dallas-based National Records Centers Inc. as president and CEO. He has more than two decades of experience in records and information management, according to a statement.
Lenhard moved to Naples in 2015. He is a private pilot and member of the Naples Pilots Association and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
During the 2015-16 fiscal year, the airport accommodated 95,050 takeoffs and landings. The Florida Department of Transportation values the airport's annual economic impact to the community at $283.5M.
