TAMPA — Securities attorney Martin Traber and investment banker Roger Overby have formed a new investment firm focused on serving middle-market companies.

Skyway Capital Markets will work with clients across the U.S. primarily in the energy, financial services, health care, insurance, real estate and technology industries, according to a press release.

The firm will work with clients with $10 million to $50 million in revenue that are profitable, experiencing fast growth and have a repetitive need for capital.

Skyway Capital Markets will provide capital services including private placements, restructuring, debt origination, public offering and mergers and acquisitions.

“We fill the void for growing middle market companies who need a wider range of financing options than businesses their size can currently access,” says Traber in a statement. “The level and types of services we provide are more typically available only to much larger companies.”
