SARASOTA — Residential senior living community Aviva named Jay Solomon the nonprofit's new CEO.

Solomon is a 30-year veteran in the senior living community. He previously served as chief administrator of Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Freehold, N.J. According to a press release, Manor Health received a five-star rating from Medicare and Medicaid Services and was recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top quality nursing homes in the country last year.

He also served as administrator of four other facilities in New Jersey.

“We are confident Jay will help us continue to grow and reinforce our reputation as the leading continuum of care senior facility in the Sarasota-Manatee community,” says Aviva Board President Randy Mallitz in a statement.
