LAKEWOOD RANCH — All Star Laundry is expanding, acquiring a cleaners operation in Sarasota County.
All Star purchased Carlson Cleaners of Venice, at 1435 E. Venice Ave., in the Venice Commons/Publix Shopping Center, according to a statement. The store will be rebranded under the All-Star Laundry & Dry Cleaning brand.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
“Carlson Cleaners has a terrific reputation for excellent quality and top service and we are thrilled to add this location to our store portfolio, All Star President Cheryl Walstad in the statement.
“Our explosive growth in the Sarasota market gave us an opportunity to concentrate in our local area and having history of several years working with All Star Laundry we knew they would be a great partner to take on our Venice location. Plus, they are retaining all our staff and business as usual. It's a great fit for both our companies,” adds Carlson Cleaners company President Don Carlson.
