FORT MYERS — Marlins Property Holdings has announced plans for a 14,665-square-foot, mixed-use commercial building in south Fort Myers.

Marlins Plaza will accommodate nine tenants in industries like food, retail, medical and professional. Suites will range from 1,563 to about 1,690 square feet. The plaza will have parking for 104 vehicles and one suite will have drive-up capability.

The building will be at the intersection of Six-Mile Cypress Parkway and U.S. 41. Construction is expected to begin in late March and completed in the fall.

“We are already generating a lot of interest in Marlins Plaza because of where it is situated and the demographics of the nearby population,” says Tim Frederic, principal owner of Marlins Property Holdings, in a statement.
