TAMPA — The Richman Group of Florida, one of the largest apartment landlords and developers in the region, bought a 2.94-acre land portfolio in Tampa for $6.3 million.

The portfolio is part of a seven-property grouping that includes parcels bounded by North Howard Avenue, West State Street, North Armenia Avenue and West Lemon Street, according to a press release.

The Tampa office of the commercial real estate investment services firm Marcus & Millichap handled the sale. Senior Marcus & Millichap associate Paul Bouldin led the team that marketed the properties on behalf of the sellers and secured the buyer, The Richman Group of Florida.

“This will be an important addition to the new gateway into South Tampa,” says Bouldin in a statement. “We were very pleased to have played a part in bringing it together.”

The land portfolio is two blocks south of Interstate 275 and halfway between the Westshore Business District and downtown Tampa.
