LARGO — The Shoppes of Largo, a 12,600-square-foot shopping center, has been sold for $3 million.

The sale was announced in a statement from Marcus & Millichap. Thomas Edwards, an associate with the firm, and James Medefind, first vice president, investments, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer, according to the statement. Edwards and Medefind both work out of Marcus & Millichap's Tampa office. The buyer and seller weren't disclosed.

“The strength of this location, along with the positive fundamentals in the Largo market, attracted a significant amount of interest from local and out-of-area qualified retail buyers,” says Edwards in the release.

Shoppes of Largo, at 10581 Ulmerton Road, Largo, was built in 2004. The property was 80% occupied at the time of sale, with tenants including FedEx and Fantastic Sams. The center is shadow anchored by both Publix and Home Depot, the release states.
