FORT MYERS — Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida named The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples Vice President and Managing Director Edward Staros and London Bay Homes President and CEO Mark Wilson to its Collier County 2017 Business Hall of Fame.

The award recognizes entrepreneurs who serve as role models for youth through their professional accomplishments and commitment to the community, according to a press release. The Business Hall of Fame was founded in 1988.

Staros was the third employee of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC when it was established in 1983 and is one of the founding fathers of the company, the release states.

Wilson founded London Bay Construction Inc. in 1990. The company has an in-house team of interior designers, architects and renovation specialists from Marco Island to Sarasota.

Junior Achievement is an organization that hosts programs about work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy for kindergarten through twelfth grade students. During the 2015-16 school year, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida partnered with more than 150 classroom business volunteers to provide more than 8,700 students with Junior Achievement programs in more than 360 classes throughout Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
