BONITA SPRINGS — Sunshine Ace Hardware Director of Finance Helena Dabrowski was elected president of the nonprofit Uncommon Friends Foundation.
Dabrowski previously held treasurer and vice president positions on the Uncommon Friends Foundation board. Prior to her current role at Sunshine Ace Hardware, she was the chief executive officer at Insouth Funding. Sunshine Ace Hardware has seven locations in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
Uncommon Friends Foundation works to build character among youth and business leaders. According to a press release, the foundation awards scholarships to local students, provides character education curriculum to local schools, awards an annual business ethics award to a local business and manages the historic Burroughs Home & Gardens in Fort Myers.
