FORT MYERS — Spirit Airlines will start nonstop service to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers and Tampa International Airport from Hartford, Conn.'s Bradley International Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport.
The service will start Nov. 9. According to a press release, daily flights to both cities will operate throughout the season.
“We are excited to bring these two popular destinations to the newest cities in our network,” says Spirit Airlines Vice President of Network Planning Mark Kopczak in a statement. “Spirit Airlines is committed to bringing more ultra-low fare options to Hartford and Pittsburgh and we look forward to growing our presence in Southwest Florida.”
Spirit Airlines operates more than 450 daily flights to 60 destinations in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean, according to a press release.
