Naples-based air conditioning services executive Theo Etzel, fresh off well-received publication of a book he wrote on leadership, has picked up another accolade.

Etzel's company, Conditioned Air Corp., recently won the Dave Lennox Award from Lennox Industries, according to a statement. It was the third time the company, with more than 330 employees and offices in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties, has won the award. The award, the release adds, recognizes the top 25 Lennox dealers in the United States and Canada. “We are pleased to earn this award as it honors our commitment to first class customer service, high quality installations, outstanding business practices, consistent sales growth and superior technical competence,” Etzel says in the statement.

Conditioned Air was founded in 1962. It had $47 million in sales in 2016.

Etzel, outside the company, also published a book last year, “Invest Your Heartbeats Wisely.” In the book, Etzel offers management guidelines based on biblical principles. He also writes about the success of the company and how it overcame several obstacles and challenges.
