FORT MYERS — Strategic marketing consulting company Chief Outsiders, which bills itself as one of the nation's leading “Executives-as-a-Service” firms, named Fort Myers-based executive Jay Dunn a partner.

The firm outsources chief marketing officer services through fractional or part-time chief marketing officers.

According to a press release, Dunn previously held executive marketing leadership roles at Lane Bryant, Brookstone and Char-Broil. Before joining Chief Outsiders, he had 25 years of experience working with consumer products.

“Jay is an insightful chief marketer — the kind of ally that any growth-hungry business would want on its side,” says Chief Outsiders' Southeast region Managing Partner Tom McCrary in a statement. “As a Chief Outsider, client after client have contacted us to report not only new heights of success, but their exuberance about what Jay has brought to the table, in terms of actionable insights and a deep investment in the clients' successes.”

Employees of Chief Outsiders have served on the executive teams of over 300 client companies, according to a press release.
