FORT MYERS — Iron Ridge Insurance Services acquired the property and casualty insurance business of Zehner & Associates LLC.
The purchase encompasses approximately 500 clients, according to a statement. Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Founded in 2011, Iron Ridge Insurance is an independent agency that provides consultative personal and commercial insurance programs. Its personal insurance division serves individuals and families with home, auto, liability and life insurance. Its commercial division serves a wide range of businesses, with a focus on health care and life sciences, architects and engineers, contractors and religious institutions.
“We are always looking for opportunities that are mutually beneficial, and this was a perfect fit,” Iron Ridge Insurance vice president Norman Lutz says in the statement. “We will be able to enhance the services and options to our new clients, achieve our goals for consistent growth and profitability and continue to add new employees and technology to Iron Ridge.”
