Bradenton EDC goes to college for its new chairwoman

BRADENTON — State College of Florida President Carol Probstfeld has been named chairwoman of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp. for 2017.

The chair-elect is Kirk Boylston, president with Lakewood Ranch Commercial, according to a statement. The immediate past chair is Mike Moschella with Hancock Bank; the secretary is Dom DiMaio with Synovus Bank; and the treasurer is Brian Volner with New York Private Bank & Trust.

The EDC's executive committee also announced new at-large directors. The list includes: David Sessions with Willis A. Smith Construction; Mike Bryant with Fawley Bryant Architecture; Josh McCoy with SunTrust; and Trudy Moon with Air & Energy, who represents the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.
