SARASOTA — Longtime Sarasota County planner Brian Lichterman, who helped plan numerous roads in two decades with the county, is shifting his career focus to commercial real estate.
Lichterman, a former senior planner at the Sarasota County Planning and Development Services Department, recently took a job with Wagner Realty, based in Lakewood Ranch, according to a release. A commercial Realtor since 2011, Lichterman plans to help clients with entitling, purchasing or developing a raw piece of property, the release adds. He will also work with clients who seek to develop office, commercial or industrial properties.
In Lichterman's tenure with the county he helped plan numerous roadway corridors, including University Parkway, Fruitville Road, Interstate 75, Clark Road, East Venice Avenue and the State Road 76 corridor. He has also run a planning consulting firm, Vision Planning & Design, where he's successfully entitled more than 40 properties for clients, the release states.
