BONITA SPRINGS — Frey & Son Homes Inc. has re-absorbed Turn Key Homes LLC, a residential rehabilitation company it started in 2011, under its corporate umbrella to unify the company's brand.
As a result, several speculative homes built in Cape Coral under the Turn Key name are now being completed under the Frey & Son name.
“As the Frey & Son Homes brand in Collier County continues to expand, we felt it would be better to rebrand the company under one name rather than have separate entities,” says Barry Frey, the company's president since 1994.
Started as Sanibel Homes by Bill and Doris Frey, Barry's parents, the Frey family has built more than 4,500 homes throughout the Bonita Springs-based company's more than four decades in business in Southwest Florida.
The company has been recognized as “America's Best Builder” by Builder Magazine and as one of the nation's top 50 luxury homebuilders by Professional Builder magazine.
Frey & Son started Turn Key during the last decade's economic recession, with the aim of buying foreclosed and distressed properties in Cape Coral and Fort Myers and rehabilitating them.
Additionally, the company also recently opened its first Cape Coral Model Showcase with a pair of custom home designs, at 2805 Cape Coral Parkway West. Another model has debuted at 861 N. Barfield Drive, on Marco Island.
