TAMPA — Managed care services firm WellCare Health Plans named longtime Johnson & Johnson executive Timothy Trodden senior vice president and chief human resources officer.

Trodden will report to WellCare CEO Ken Burdick and serve on the executive leadership team, according to a statement.

"Tim is an experienced human resources leader with a successful track record in organizational strategy and talent development," says Burdick in the statement. "I expect him to significantly contribute to our company culture and growth agenda."

Trodden was most recently the head of human resources and corporate enterprise functions for Johnson & Johnson, where he led overall HR and talent strategy, the release adds. He held other HR leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson over his 16 years with the company.

"I am excited to join a fast-growing company with a focus on continuously improving the associate experience," says Trodden in the release. "I look forward to working with Ken and the leadership team to attract and retain strong talent with a mission to serve."
