NAPLES — Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida and Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami are opening a 29,000-square-foot pediatric health center and urgent care facility in Naples later this month.

The facility, the Golisano | Nicklaus Children's Health Center, officially opens Jan. 16, according to a statement. It's at 3361 Pine Ridge Road, Suite 100.

“The Golisano | Nicklaus Children's Health Center is an innovative facility that brings pediatric specialty care, urgent care and other valuable health services to the children and families in Naples,” says Kathy Bridge-Liles, chief administrative officer at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida in the statement. “This facility will provide access to specialized medical care and treatment to children, and will help us to continue to meet our mission 'to serve children as close to home as possible.'”

Services at the new center include a kids' urgent care open seven days a week from 11 a.m.-11 p.m., pediatric specialists in more than a dozen disciplines and pediatric rehabilitation programs.

The Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is one of the few acute care children's hospital between the Tampa area market and the Miami area. The Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, is a 289-bed facility.
