FORT MYERS — Phase V Fulfillment, a North Fort Myers logistics firm that works with providers of pet products, beauty and hair products, supplements, books and other goods, recently opened a new and larger warehouse.

The 24,000-square-foot building, which debuted in October, is located at 7920 Interstate Court and replaces a former similar structure at the site, according to a statement.

Phase V, which dates to 1980, says the new facility provides more docks and cross-docks that will allow it to better move goods in and out.

Scott Wingerter, Phase V's operations manager, says the company also hopes to “develop a larger, established narrow aisles layout” that could lead to a second phase of racking in the building.

At build out, the new building will offer 1,400 racks, the company says.

“We are excited about the new facility as it strengthens our operations and ability to offer turnkey solutions to the entire supply chain needs of our customers,” says George Otte, Phase V's president and CEO, whose Otte Polo Group acquired Phase V in 2013.
