NAPLES — Naples Community Hospital recently completed an extensive renovation of its fourth floor.

Fort Myers-based Stevens Construction handled the renovations, according to a statement. The fourth floor of the facility is 22,954 square feet, and houses a 23-bed oncology specialty care department and a 12-bed behavioral health treatment center. The project included construction of nurse stations, offices, a conference room and a serenity room, the release adds.

The project occurred while the 713-bed hospital remained in operation, so Stevens Construction utilized strict containment measures, according to the statement. That included barrier walls and HEPA filters to ensure the hospital was never compromised throughout the project.

Stevens Construction has offices in Fort Myers, Tampa and Orlando and specializes in providing construction management, general contracting and consulting services to clients and design professionals. It had $34 million in revenue in 2015.
