The Business Observer is on a mission to find the region's top up-and-coming young professionals.

These are people who light up the room when they enter. That person everyone should know when they are new to town. That entrepreneur who risked money, reputation — many times both — for a vision, and succeeded despite the obstacles.

If this is you, or someone you know, then apply for the Business Observer's annual “40 under 40” issue. The issue is open to entrepreneurs, executives and professionals in any field or industry from Polk through Collier counties. The nominee must be under 40 up until the day the issue is published, Oct. 13.

Rules are simple. Just follow the link here: Businessobserverfl.com/40under40. You will need the name, age, city of residence, contact information and a short biography of the nominee. You may nominate yourself. Questions? Send a note to Business Observer managing editor Mark Gordon at [email protected].

The deadline is Friday, Aug. 18.
