SARASOTA — Sarasota-based professional employer organization Progressive Employer Management Co. recently opened a new office in Miami.
The company provides payroll administration, workers' compensation and employee benefits and human resource management.
Pemco opened another new office in Ocala in February. The company now has 10 locations throughout Florida and Texas. According to a press release, the Miami location is part of Pemco's growth strategy to expand its footprint in Florida.
“As we're expanding our operations throughout Florida, we want to establish a dedicated team of professionals in South Florida,” says Pemco CEO Clinton Burgess in a statement. “We hired local talent, who understand the market, to provide business solutions for all sized businesses to help them grow.”
Miami-native Jose Fernandez will lead the Miami team as regional sales manager. He has six years of experience in the professional employer organization industry and 11 years of experience in the insurance, payroll and human resources outsourcing industry.
Pemco provides services to the professional, medical, contractor, hospitality, service, industrial and nonprofit sectors.
