WoodSpring Hotels, an extended-stay hotel brand, plans to build four new properties in Florida, including one in Naples.
Three other WoodSpring properties in development are on the east coast of Florida, in Miramar, Tamarac and West Palm Beach, according to a statement. Wichita, Kan.-based WoodSpring will partner with Gold Coast Premier Properties to develop the hotels, the release adds. Costs of the projects weren't disclosed.
“Florida has been an exceptionally strong and active market for our company owned assets,” says Ron Burgett, WoodSpring executive vice president of franchise development and operations, in the statement. “Its demographics, growth and tourism make it one of the strongest extended-stay markets in America. We look forward to expanding our franchisee partnership in Florida with Gold Coast.”
WoodSpring Hotels operates more than 200 hotels in at least 30 states. The company owns 90 hotels and provides management services for both company-owned and franchised locations under the WoodSpring Suites and Value Place brands.
