National homebuilder Toll Bros. recently closed on a deal to buy 133 acres in Hacienda Lakes, a master-planned community off Collier Boulevard, south of Naples.
The homebuilder plans to develop Azure at Hacienda Lakes on the property, according to a statement. The gated community will total 419 residences and include a private resort-style clubhouse for residents, the statement adds. The property has been cleared with earthwork in progress, in preparation for utilities, and is scheduled to open early next year.
Hacienda Lakes is a 2,262-acre development bordered by Willow Run Quarry to the north and stretches south of Physicians Regional Medical Center. The project is designed for up to 1,760 homes; 327,000 square feet of retail space; 70,000 square feet of professional and medical office space; 135 hotel rooms; a business park; and a public school.
