Dr. Michelle Carnes and Eric Carnes, owners of the Animal Specialty Hospital of Florida's Neurology service in Naples and Companion Animal Neurology, of Sarasota, are combining the two practices.

The combined practice will be known as Specialists in Companion Animal Neurology.

“Consolidating administrative operations allows us to place more emphasis on veterinary neurology and neurosurgery,” says Eric Carnes, the practice's co-owner and CFO, in a statement.

Dr. Carnes and Nick Archambault will treat patients in Naples, at 10130 Market St., while Chris Levine will treat patients at 7005 S. Tamiami Trail, in Sarasota. Both treatment centers are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and after hours with a veterinarian referral.

“The top priorities of our team are the safety and comfort of patients,” says Dr. Carnes, the practice's co-owner and medical director, and a founding member of the Veterinary Neurosurgical Society.

“Since our sole practice focus is neurology and neurosurgery, we can elevate our patient and pet owner experience in terms of both expertise and service.”
