LAKEWOOD RANCH — Builder Magazine ranked prolific regional homebuilder Neal Communities 45th on its list of the 100 top homebuilders in the United States.
Neal has been ranked in the top 50 each of the past three years, coming in at 47 in 2015 and 50 in 2014, a statement says. The company posted 989 home closings in 2015.
Builder Magazine also ranked the top private homebuilders nationwide, placing Neal Communities at No. 27, the statement adds. With 26 more home closings, the builder would have cracked the top 25.
So far in 2016, Neal Communities has sold 391 homes. The company has built more than 10,000 homes in Southwest Florida since 1970.
