SARASOTA — Ergotech Inc., a Danbury, Conn.-based manufacturing company, is relocating its corporate headquarters to its south Manatee County location, effective April 1.

The company opened the facility at 6408 Parkland Drive on June 1. As part of the transition, the operating name will officially be Ergotronix Inc., a statement says.

“The Florida facility marked a new phase in our company's history,” Earl Hagman, Ergotronix's CEO, says in the statement. “This new location has been a beneficial transformation, during which we received excellent assistance from the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp. and various agencies in the state of Florida.”

Ergotronix makes ergonomic equipment for workers in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Its clients range from the federal government to a host of Fortune 500 companies.

This story was updated to reflect the correct county where Ergotech will move its headquarters.
