Encore Bank promoted 30-year banking veteran William Blevins to executive vice president.

Blevins joined Encore Bank in 2011, when was named Lee County market executive, senior vice president and senior lending officer. In that role he oversaw the bank's commercial lending team in Lee, Collier and Charlotte Counties. In those five years, the bank posted double-digit loan growth, according to a statement.

“Bill's leadership inspires our team every day to set a new standard for community banking,” Encore Bank CEO Tom Ray says in a release. “He's an asset to the bank, but even more so to our customers.”

Encore Bank, with six branches, was founded in 2007 and had $377.7 million in assets through March 31.
