Children's hospital ranks among best in U.S.

ST. PETERSBURG — Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg has been ranked as one of the nation's best children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.

The rankings placed All Children's Hospital in the top 50 in six of 10 categories. These are the six categories the hospital was ranked in:
• Best Hospitals for Pediatric Orthopedics, No. 30
• Best Hospitals for Pediatric Cardiology and Heart Surgery, No. 30
• Best Hospitals for Pediatric Neonatology, No. 39
• Best Hospitals for Pediatric Urology, No. 46
• Best Hospitals for Pediatric Pulmonology, No. 49
• Best Hospitals for Pediatric Cancer, No. 50

U.S. News & World Report gathered data from approximately 180 pediatric centers to compile its 10 lists. Part of each hospital's score is from surveys of more than 10,000 pediatric specialists who were asked where they would send the sickest children in their specialty.
