TAMPA — Steelyard, an online sourcing and specification platform for trade professionals, named Boyd Tasker executive vice president.
Tasker will lead the branding and sales efforts at Steelyard, a statement says. Most recently, Tasker and his wife founded the Wynwood Design Lab, a design incubator and salon-style gathering and event space in Miami. His other experience includes a six-year tenure as director of business development, gift and home for the International Market Center in Las Vegas.
Steelyard's technology-based platform reaches professional trade buyers in a business-to-business market. The firm specifies more than $68 billion of products per year, the statement says.
