LAKEWOOD RANCH — Lakewood Ranch-based homebuilder Neal Communities had another strong month in June with 99 total home sales.
Those sales were split across the company's North, South and Neal Signature Homes divisions, a statement says. The North division closed 71 sales in the month, the South division closed 23 and Neal Signature Homes closed five.
“Last month was a trying time with the Brexit shock and the uncertainty surrounding its effect on the U.S. economy,” says Neal Communities President Michael Storey. “Thankfully, the national hiring boost and up-trending markets helped calm those fears.”
The three communities with the most sales in June were Sliverleaf, Grand Palm and Boca Royale Golf and Country Club, with 16, 14 and seven sales, respectively.
Neal Communities, the 45th ranked homebuilder on Builder Magazine's list of the top 100 homebuilders in the nation, has strung together a streak of solid months. The homebuilder had 89 new home sales in May and has sold more than 500 homes so far in 2016. It closed 989 homes sales last year.
