PGT Industries, a manufacturer and supplier of residential windows and doors, is looking to hire at least 100 people.
The Venice-based firm, the largest employer in Sarasota County with about 1,800 employees, plans to host a hiring event Saturday, Jan. 9 through a partnership with CareerSource Suncoast, according to a statement. PGT wants to fill 100 job openings scattered throughout manufacturing assembly, loading, leadership and internships, the statement says.
The hiring event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 1070 Technology Drive, North Venice.
