NAIOP Tampa Bay names 'Best'

NAIOP Tampa Bay has named its “Best of the Best” awards for the past year.

CBRE Inc. Senior Vice President Dale Peterson was named Best Broker and received the award for top sale for work on the $195 million deal involving the Bank of America Plaza, in downtown Tampa.

CBRE Senior Vice President Bill Obregon won for the best lease of the year, along with Cushman & Wakefield agents Ron Ruffner and Clay Sovich, for a 111,428-square-foot deal that brought the headquarters of a Johnson & Johnson division to the Hidden River Corporate Center One, in Tampa.

JLL was named “Best Brokerage Firm,” while Parkway Properties and Central Florida Development were honored with “Best Landlord” and “Best Developer,” respectively.

Cushman & Wakefield Florida director Larry Richey was inducted into the group's Hall of Fame, while attorney Charles Carver received the group's 2015 President's Award.
