VENICE — PGT Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of residential windows and doors, added Sheree Bargabos and Jeff Jackson to its board of directors.

Bargabos most recently served as vice president of customer experience at Owens Corning, a manufacturer of composite materials, according to a release. She spent 35 years in various management positions at Owens Corning.

“Ms. Bargabos brings a wealth of executive management experience in running successful businesses at Owens Corning,” PGT CEO and chairman Rod Hershberger in the statement. “Her expertise and deep knowledge in the building products industry will be immensely valuable to PGT in the years ahead.”

Jackson joined the firm in 2005 as vice president and CFO, and helped the company through its IPO in 2006, the statement says. He was promoted to president and COO in 2014.

“His operational expertise and vision for success has led to PGT engaging in two significant acquisitions to grow the company,” Hershberger says in the statement. “Under his leadership, PGT has grown significantly in the last 10 years.”

That growth has continued through the start of 2016. In early January, the company announced plans to hire at least 100 people.
