SARASOTA — TRIAX Precision Manufacturing LLC, a manufacturer focused on the aerospace, industrial equipment, marine and general machining markets, is launching in Manatee County.
TRIAX provides machining, engineering, welding and assembly services. It acquired Sarasota-based Hi-Nu-Tec in 2015 and plans to expand that operation in 14,000 square feet at 911 Commerce Blvd. N., a statement says.
“TRIAX Precision Manufacturing is a valuable addition to Manatee County's advanced manufacturing sector,” says Sharon Hillstrom, president and CEO of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corp., in the statement. “TRIAX provides services that are in strong demand among manufacturers locally and globally.”
The Manatee County Board of Commissioners approved TRIAX for $9,000 in performance-based incentives based on adding nine jobs over the next five years, the statement says.
“The Manatee County Board of Commissioners recognizes that the advanced manufacturing sector is vital to creating a more diverse local economy,” says Ed Hunzeker, Manatee County administrator, in the statement. Hunzeker says applying incentives “helps to expedite job creation and capital investment by companies like TRIAX.”
