MARCO ISLAND — The Marco Beach Ocean Resort recently completed a comprehensive renovation of its one- and two-bedroom suites.

The updated luxury interiors include warm and washed wood tones, linen-inspired upholstery and elegant mirror and satin nickel surfaces, according to a statement. Each of the 78 one-bedroom and 15 two-bedroom suites offers a kitchenette, spacious living room and a private balcony that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico or garden terraces. Smart TVs were also installed in each suite and allow complimentary internet access. “The rooms have a lighter look but retain a sophisticated ambience,” says Marco Beach Ocean Resort General Manager Ron Albeit.

The property also recently updated its Gulf Ballroom, the release adds. “The lighter colors highlight the ballroom's incredible Gulf of Mexico views and minimize the separation between indoor and outdoor spaces,” says Albeit.

A total cost of the renovations wasn't disclosed.

Marc-Michaels Interior Design handled the design for both the new guest suites and the Gulf Ballroom. Rebecca Masterson of Marc-Michaels, in the release, says the new guest interiors are “airy, beachy and fresh, with a clean feeling. Instead of accessories, the focus is more on the artwork.”
